Wolf in the snow

What happens when a wolf cub and a girl with a red pointed hood both get lost in a snowstorm?
Matthew Cordell plays with the fairy tale in this stunning silent book, winning the 2018 Caldecott Medal.
It's a relatively long, very cinematic silent book (48 pages) that both children and grown ups will enjoy.
The path of the girl in red and the one of the wolf are followed through the eye of the camera until they meet, and the suspence builds up gradually at the pace of the snow, falling thicker and faster, taking us to the final happy ending.
A must read, brilliantly illustrated.
