Stories for boys who dare to be different

Who said that only girls should rebel against stereotypes?
Finally a book that tells us about boys who didn’t want to be action heroes or save princesses.

This is an inspiring collection of 100 stories of men from the past to the present day, who went on to make the world a better place through compassion, generosity and self-belief.

It just came out in the UK a couple of weeks ago and it’s been such a success that Quercus Books is planning a vol.2 .
I truly appreciated the release of this title, it comes to balance a bit the recent feminist wave in children’s books. I strongly believe change must come for men and from men in first place, and that men should be free from stereotypes as much as women.

Quercus Books and Waterstones UK have teamed up an are currently working on a new title  ‘Stories for kids who dare to be different’, which will be released Nov 1st 2018, after so many parents requested a gender free book for all kids.
Readers have been asked to nominate the 50 people who will be featured in it, so this will be a quite democratic book:) You can follow the list of names following Quercus and Waterstones on social media.

See you next November!
