ONLY BEAUTIFUL, NURTURING PICTURE BOOKS FOR ALL AGES

First graphic novel by Italian illustrator Maurizio Quarello is a poignant tribute to his grandparents, who fought against the nazi occupation joining the Italian Resistance movement in the latest years of World War II.

The book is wordless for a reason: the illustrations are stunning, making you go through the pages in one breath.
My daughters are too young for this now and I enjoyed it on my own, silently remembering my grandma's tales about the war.
Still, I love the idea that it will sit there waiting for them to be ready to listen this Story.

Quarello has given us such a powerful tool to share it with our children. This feels like a classic already.
